How do we work

Why chooseOMID Photo/Video?

A photo shoot with OMID Photo/Video is like spending a day by the sea with the ones you love (Literally!). Using wonderful outdoor locations you can have a splendid afternoon with your family or loved one while we capture fun, spontaneous, quirky and magical moments as they happen.

The emphasis of each session is on you and your lives. Each session is customized to reflect your individuality and preserve the way you are now – forever. Our natural and flowing photography style means there are no awkward ‘say cheese’ moments, rather a whole lot of laughs, big FUN and captured personality.

What if we are sick on the day of the photoshoot?

Illness is a fact of life and as such if you or your child are sick and unable to be your happy self for the photoshoot we will reschedule.

What if weather is not so sunshine and lollipops?

A common misconception is that photos only look good in bright sunlight. However, clouds make for beautiful soft diffuse light with no harsh shadows. Rain clouds are my favorite! Don’t be afraid to get adventurous – grab the gumboots, ill bring some colourful umbrellas and we’ll make some great pictures in the rain! In cases where the weather is very dark and gloomy – we can reschedule or move to an indoor location.

How many photos do you deliver?

As many as I have. For a family session there are typically around 20-40 fully edited shots to choose from. Alternatively, you can buy the entire collection as prints or high quality digital files. For weddings, all edited images are provided on disk in addition to any selected print options, nothing is held back – it’s all yours, all edited and all your precious memories captured.

Should I bring anything to the shoot?

As the sessions are all about you, your family, your loved ones and your life – I encourage all my clients to bring things that mean something’s to them. Things that define them. Is your family crazy about the footy? bring your jerseys and the footy and let the boys play a game a of beach footy. Favorite blanky? That cute little furry stuffed thing he gave you on your first Valentine’s day? If it means something to you then bring it I say.

How long will the shoot take?

On location family shoots typically take around 1-2 hours. Couples portrait sessions vary from 1-2 hours to all day. As for weddings, we don’t want to miss a thing so well be there all day! For more information on our packages click here

How long until I get my photos?

Depending of the type of shoot, your photos will be ready within 2 – 6 weeks.

Can I order prints/albums later?

Yes – prints, albums, canvases, a printed T-shirt perhaps? Can all be ordered within 6 months of the shoot?

Can we pick our own location?

Yes! These sessions are all about you.

How do I secure my booking with you?

I love meeting new clients, it allows us to get to know each other and the customization of your shoot can start immediately. To save your time, I require a non-refundable retainer prior to the shoot date.
